NILES (WKZO) -- Alcohol may have contributed to a crash just southeast of Niles in Cass County that injured six people Saturday night, including two children.
Deputies say 46-year-old Erika Kanczuzewski of Niles, and her children, 13-year-old David and 8-year-old Ava, were west bound on Redfield St, just north of the Indiana border when another vehicle turned in front of them at Gumwood.
The driver of the other car, 23-year-old Stephen Armet of Granger was south bound with two passengers, 23-year-old Christopher Pavnica and 21-year-old Evan Armet.
All were wearing seat belts.
All six required treatment. Their conditions were not released.
