DETROIT (WKZO) -- Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew will be in Detroit for two days later this week. Lew is scheduled to meet with non-profit foundation leaders on Thursday and will visit New Center Stamping and also discuss Detroit's economy with area business leaders on Friday. The visit follows discussions held last week to try and free up millions of dollars for Detroit from the state's nearly 500-million dollar allotment from the government's Hardest Hit Fund.
