The Kalamazoo Marathon is teaming up with the Wisconsin Marathon in 2014 to give runners the unique opportunity of running two marathons in as many days.
The “Earn Your Mittens” challenge will start in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 3 with the Wisconsin Marathon and will conclude in Kalamazoo with the Kalamazoo Marathon on Sunday, May 4.
Those who run in both marathons will be awarded a special “Earn Your Mittens” medal at the finish line of the Kalamazoo Marathon.
In Kalamazoo, Mittens contenders will be provided with a free meal ticket and a VIP tent at the start/finish line that will provide quick packet pickup on the morning of the race.
Runners must register for both the Kalamazoo Marathon and Wisconsin Marathon—other events are not considered part of the Earn Your Mittens challenge—and should then notify the Kalamazoo Marathon electronically at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the list.
