JACKSON (WKZO) -- It was supposed to be routine. Camia Gamet was to receive mandatory life for the first degree stabbing and beating death of her boyfriend in March.
But Gamet kept insisting that it was self-defense.
Jackson Co. Judge John McBain, blew up at her, threatened to duct tape her mouth, and then charged that she gutted the victim like a fish with a filet knife, suggesting his death was not the kind of death one suffers when they are on the offensive.
She stabbed him 11-times after hitting him so hard in the head that she damaged his skull.
He angrily shouted, that he agrees with the victim’s family and hopes she dies in jail, in fact he said if this were a death penalty state that she would get the chair.
She had been accused of being abusive before this incident.
