LANSING (WKZO) -- Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum is not going to be mounting a campaign for Congress to succeed the retiring Mike Rogers. Byrum cited partisan division in Washington, D.C. for her decision to stay in Lansing. She had been viewed as the top Democrat in the district. Rogers is not seeking another term in order to start a national conservative radio show, and has endorsed former state Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop on the Republican ticket.
