CASSOPOLIS (WKZO) -- A Cass County man who hit a man and his daughter with his car while they were snowmobiling in January has been sentenced. The Cass County Prosecutor says that Randall Womble, of Howard Township, was found guilty after the jury deliberated for about 15 minutes Tuesday. He was then sentenced to eight months of probation. The prosecutor says that 33 year old Keith Peterson and his eight year old daughter, from Niles, suffered leg injuries on January 25th when their snowmobile was struck by Wombles car as he was backing out of a driveway. It was later revealed that Womble had been drinking.
