DETROIT (WKZO) -- A General Motors engineer may have lied under oath in testifying about a massive recall of vehicles linked to a defective part. During testimony before a Senate Committee Thursday, GM CEO Mary Barra was asked about whether or not Ray DeGiorgio lied about the part he played in fixing the issue.

When grilled by Senator Claire McCaskill, who accused DeGiorgio of repeatedly committing perjury, Barra, quoted in the Detroit Free Press said, "The data that's been put in front of me indicates that, but I'm waiting for the full investigation. I want to be fair."
