KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- You can prepare to learn about everything from the history of Michigan's breweries to the growth of the underground railroad in Kalamazoo at this year's Historical Society of Michigan's annual meeting at Western Michigan University. Held between September 27th and 29th, the gathering will feature three keynote speakers, says the Historical Society's Larry Wagenaar.
He tells us they'll talk about the history of automobiles in Kalamazoo, the sins of Kalamazoo's past, and local broadcasting legends.
Wagenaar says the event is perfect for history professionals and enthusiasts alike. The registration deadline is September 20th, and you can find out everything you need to know by following this link.
