LANSING (WKZO) -- Attorney General Bill Schuette has commented in recognition of the 12th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks. He says, that although the threat was unimaginable, Americans responded with courage and bravery.
Additionally the AG said "When others fled down the stairs of the World Trade Center, New York firefighters headed up to lend a helping hand. When hijackers took control of United Flight 93, Todd Beamer and his fellow passengers fought back. When American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, civilian and military employees rescued the injured. When all was said and done, nearly three-thousand families lost loved ones, and as we take a moment to pause and reflect, we remember them all in our prayers today."
