KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Guilty on all counts, that’s the verdict against Sam Steel who was tried this week in a Kalamazoo Circuit Courtroom for the revenge murder of Milo Conkli.
He was gunned down on Mable St. on Easter Sunday in 2011.
Prosecutors said Steele suspected that Conklin had broken into his home, so when he spotted him that day, be borrowed a friend’s gun and emptied it into him.
He fled the area, but was tracked to Georgia through his hobby, breeding fighting dogs, and arrested.
He was convicted of first degree murder and three felony gun counts and will get mandatory life when he is sentenced on September 30th.
