LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan's new Donate Life license plates have generated more that 45 thousand dollars for a fund that's used to promote organ and tissue donation since last year. That's according to State Representative Kevin Daley, of Lum.
He says the Donate Life plate should be around for good now after a successful first year.
Daley sponsored the legislation to create the plate after meeting the woman who received his son's heart after the son was killed in an accident in 2011. She joined him at the Capitol this week to talk about the plate's success.
