KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A new noise ordinance could be the result of a special task force that may wrap up its work this evening in downtown Kalamazoo.
It could effect everything from how late summer festivals continue, and whether they are able to bring in big name acts, to just how loud they get during Music on the Mall.
It wasn’t an issue years ago, but as more and more people actually live downtown, some have begun to complain about the noise.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 at City Hall.
Their job tonight is to come up with a recommendation for City Commissioners to consider.
They were originally scheduled to meet two weeks ago but that meeting was cancelled.
