UNDATED (WSAU) - Kraft Foods has issued a recall on certain string cheese products. Consumers are urged to take the recalled items back to their grocer for full refunds.
The products recalled are the Kraft and Polly-O String Cheese and the String Cheese Twists. The reason for the recall is the product may spoil before their “best when used by” dates, which could lead to product discoloration.
There are no reports of illness from the products.
The recall affects nearly 735,000 cases of cheese products with expiration code dates from October 25th of this year through February 11th of 2014.
