PHOENIX (WKZO)- The Red wings jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period with goals from Todd Bertuzzi and Pavel Datsyuk, but The Phoenix Coyotes were able to use four third period goals to propel them to a 5-2 victory.

Mike Ribeiro scored at 5:07 in the third period to tie the score at 2-2.  Then the flood gates opened as Martin Hanzal added the go-ahead goal at 7:08 to give the Coyotes a 3-2 lead.  Ribeiro added another goal and Mike Smith added an empty netter.

Jimmy Howard was back in goal tonight for the wings and stopped 28 of 32 shots.

The Red Wings four game winning streak came to an end.  Their record is now 6-3.  

The Red Wings will be back in action Monday night taking on the red hot San Jose Sharks.  Broadcast time is at 7:10 on 1660 the Fan.
