BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A federal lawsuit against gun maker Remington over the death of a Battle Creek man on a hunting trip has been settled. MLive reports the terms of the agreement are not being released. Monica Wood sued the gun company, saying a faulty trigger assembly on a rifle caused the death of her husband, Robert Wood Junior in 2011. Wood's father had loaded the gun, but had his fingers nowhere near the trigger when it fired and the round struck his son.
