KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- There's a new candidate for the Michigan House in the 61st district. The 61st District is currently represented by Margaret O'Brien, who will be running for the State Senate next year, and running to replace O'Brien is Kalamazoo County Commissioner Brandt Iden, who announced this week.
The Republican's been a county commissioner for three years, and he says he wants to bring some of the things he's learned in that role to the state legislature, telling us that the county commission proves that it's possible to accomplish things in a bipartisan way.
Iden says he wants to make tax reform and job creation his main priorities in Lansing. You can find out more about Iden by following this link.
