LANSING (WKZO) -- State Senator John Proos is among a group of state lawmakers calling on the Obama administration to allow the Keystone XL oil pipeline to be completed.
Proos says that this project has been in the works for five years now, and it's being held up unnecessarily by the White House. He thinks it's time for Keystone to be finished.
Lawmakers, business leaders, and labor organizations in Michigan have been making a push this week to convince leaders at the federal level to allow the Keystone pipeline to be completed. They say jobs are on the line, even though the pipeline doesn't pass through Michigan.
