MASON COUNTY (WKZO) -- The mother of an accused cop killer in Mason County is expected to be formally charged today.
Tammy Spofford was arrested for a pair of felonies for her alleged actions after Eric Knysz told detectives he shot and killed State Trooper Paul Butterfield.
His wife, Sarah Knysz testified during her plea hearing that Tammy Spofford was told about the shooting, before she went with them to allegedly steal a getaway car.
Spofford has been arrested for being an accessory after the fact and the Unlawfully driving away an auto.
Those are the same charges that Sarah Knysz now faces sentencing for.
