GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- LG Chem Michigan will pay 1.2-million dollars to settle False Claims Act allegations. The company is accused of using federal funds to pay employees for recreational and volunteer activites. LG Chem already paid the U.S. Department of Energy thousands in January over the same allegations.
