MACKINAC ISLAND (WKZO) -- Mackinac Island will be a relaxing destination for Michiganders this summer. Mary McGuire Slevin, Director of the Tourism Bureau, says in addition to the historic Grand Hotel, the carriage rides, and the fine dining, there are always the ferry rides. And there are new kinds of boats rides each year.
She says one company is offering ferry rides under the stars, and others that depart under the Mackinac Bridge so you can stop and take photos. Then there are ferry services offer old fashioned, more relaxed and slower ferries, as well as around-the-island tours.
You can find out about all the things Mackinac Island has to offer by going here.
