  • When: Thursday, May, 22 2013

The City of Moore released this statement to the public on Tuesday:

"Thanks to all of our friends from all over the world who have called and e-mailed offering support during this difficult time. Due to the overwhelming generosity of our friends and neighbors, the City of Moore is no longer in need of food or clothing donations. As we move forward in the recovery process, PLEASE make financial donations only, until when and if other types of donations are requested.

Aid is needed to restore homes, schools and medical centers that were destroyed in the storm's path."

Donors unable to attend Moore-4-Moore can also contribute to the Red Cross by visiting the www.redcross.org website and going to the Disaster Relief Fund. People can also text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation towards natural disaster relief efforts.
