LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder and Republican legislative leaders have reached a deal on how to divide the state's surplus revenue.

On Tuesday, both sides came to an agreement on how to divvy up nearly 702-million dollars.  Roughly 350-million dollars will be used for one-time priority projects, with 140-million going towards K-12 education and some going into the state's rainy day fund.

Lawmakers are currently scrambling to complete the 2014 fiscal year budget by June 1st.
