LANSING (WKZO) -- A former Michigan State Police Lieutenant has pleaded no contest to a charge of racketeering stemming from an investigation into embezzlement of property.
Luke Davis entered the no contest plea in Monroe County's 38th District Court Monday. Attorney General Bill Schuette sought the charges against Davis, former MSP Lieutenant Emmanuel Riopelle and Lawrence Dusseau in the investigation dating back to 2011.
Authorities charged the three suspects with taking money and property of suspects between 2006 and 2008. When authorities searched Davis' home in 2008 they found drugs, stolen jewelry,computers and other property.
