KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- This weekend will be the grand opening of the new Ford Model A exhibit at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners. The Ford Model A was sold between 1927 and 1931, says the Gilmore's Jay Follis.
He says the first one ever made will be at the new exhibit, which opens at nine AM on Saturday. That car was personally given to Thomas Edison by Henry Ford as it rolled off the assembly line, and now Gilmore has it.
Also, anyone who shows up in a Model A gets for free. To find out more, go to www.gilmorecarmuseum.org .
