KALAMAZOO (WKZO) – In his first year as head coach of the Western Michigan football team, PJ Fleck and the Broncos are slated to appear in two Big Ten Network primetime games this season.

Western Michigan is the lone Mid-American Conference team on the BTN primetime schedule, and two games under the lights for the Broncos equals Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska and Northwestern.

The Broncos open their season just as they did in 2010, facing Michigan State on August 30th at 8 pm in the network’s national game of the night featuring the in-state rivals. The other game under the lights will come against Northwestern on September 14th at 9 pm. Neither a kick time nor network has been named for their September 21st game at Iowa.

96.5 FM WKZO is the flagship station for WMU Football. Join Robin Hook and John Creek an hour ahead of kick-off for the action all season long.
