KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Runners, Walkers, volunteers, and spectators are all invited to join in this year’s Tent City celebration. Located at the finish line of the Borgess Run for the Health of It, Tent City spreads across the West lawn of the Nazareth campus.
One of the biggest changes in this year’s Tent City event is the serving time of the Kalamazoo Marathon’s official beer: Big Finish Ale. Instead of serving time at 11:00 a.m., organizers will be pouring the Arcadia Brewing Co.’s American pale Ale at 9:30 a.m.
There will be an inflatable play-land for kids, live music for all ages, and vintage t-shirts available for sale.
Tent City begins at 6:45 a.m. with a worship service hosted in the food tent. The event will last until midafternoon and anyone wishing to participate can rest assured it is a free event. See the above map for details.
