BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A runaway teen from Battle Creek has been located.
Sixteen-year-old Xavier Chase Wilson left his residence around 5 p.m. on April 26th, and he had last been seen with Chris Mazur on April 28th in the Battle Creek area. Mazur is a Calhoun County parolee, and a parole violation detainer was issued against him. Wilson was believed to have left on a voluntary basis and was never believed to be in any danger, but police were concerned because they say he has the mental capacity of a twelve-year-old.
Wilson was found in Monroe, Michigan Thursday afternoon with Mazur. Mazur was placed into custody to be transported back to his residence.
