HOLLAND, MI (WHTC, Holland, MI) - In his monthly appearance on the "Talk of the Town" program on WHTC (1450 AM, Holland, MI), State Senator Rick Jones (R-Grand Ledge), when asked by host Juke Van Oss to comment on Detroit coming under a state-appointed Emergency Manager, whose task began on Monday, said that "Detroit needs to save themselves. I will not vote for any West Michigan tax to bail out the City of Detroit. Years of incompetence and even corruption have led that city to where they are at today. I think if it (Detroit) was shrunk down to a viable size, Detroit could survive and could be fine, but right now, it's pretty disfunctional."
