MOUNT PLEASANT (WKZO) -- A Michigan man's embarking on a quest to raise one-million dollars for Alzheimer's research. Brad Kloha of Mount Pleasant is planning to run in 100 races around the country in just 52 weeks to meet his goal.
Kloha works at Central Michigan University, so most of those races will be on weekends, with two and sometimes three races being run in one weekend throughout the year. He says he was inspired to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association after watching his grandparents suffer with the disease for years.
Kloha's yet to run a single race, but he's already racked up over three-thousand dollars in pledges. Donations are being taken online at RunToRemember.net.
