COMSTOCK PARK (WKZO) -- A taco made with a shell of bacon awaits baseball fans at West Michigan Whitecaps fans this year.

The Single-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers had their fans choose from a list of the top ten new food items through an online vote, with what's called the "Baco" getting 30-percent of the vote.  Second place went to what they called "The Bad Joke," which is a corn dog covered in cheese, flanked with two strips of duck bacon and placed inside a bun.

The club will still serve it's now internationally-famous, five-thousand calorie Fifth-Third Burger, which was featured on Travel Channel's "Man v. Food" and weighs four pounds with five third-pound burger patties.
