MOUNT PLEASANT (WKZO) --  Michigan State Police have five people in custody in the bust of a six-county theft ring in west and central Michigan.  The investigation began with the disappearance of roughly 60-thousand dollars in equipment and tools in Evart at an auto shop.  Investigators believe the suspects are involved in other crimes in Allegan, Isabella, Kent, Mecosta, Osceola, and Ottawa counties.
