LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan Film Office has approved film incentives for two movies to be filmed in metro Detroit.
The cast and crew of "Landlord," a film about a widowed landlord dealing with the abduction of his daughter, is comprised entirely of Michigan residents. "Papou," a film about a boy and his dying grandfather, will hire 51 Michigan residents.
The Michigan Film Office has so far awarded nearly eleven-million dollars to twelve projects of its 38.2-million dollars allocated for fiscal 2013. The projects are expected to hire 822 Michigan residents with a full-time equivalent of 220 jobs.
