Detroit, MI (WQLR) – The Detroit Lions on Wednesday announced they have reached a four year deal with running back Reggie Bush. Bush previously played two seasons with the Miami Dolphins after spending five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, the team that drafted Bush second overall during the 2006 NFL Draft.
Last season Bush rushed for 986 yards with six touchdowns. For his career he has averaged 4.3 yards per carry and has scored 29 rushing TDs. Bush is expected to split time with Mikel Leshoure in the Lions’ backfield.
The Lions also agreed to deals with former Houston Texans safety Glover Quin and former Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Jason Jones on Wednesday, while resigning cornerback Chris Houston to a three year deal.
