NILES (WKZO) -- State Troopers at the Nile Post  are investigating what sounds like a smash and grab break-in at a gun shop in  Berrien County.

It happened sometime between 4 and 5 a.m. Saturday at the Farr and Sons Gun Shop on Airport Road in Niles.

The first responding patrolmen found that the front door had been forced open, audible alarms were sounding and handguns were missing.

They believe the thief or thieves forced their way in, grabbed as many handguns as they could as quickly as they could and fled.
