KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Two Kalamazoo men have been sentenced for dealing illegal drugs in federal court. KVET and the DEA worked together to investigate Lamont Thomas and William Vincent, both suspected of trafficking of crack, heroin, and cocaine in the area of Douglas and North in Kalamazoo.
Execution of search warrants on February 2nd of 2012 Thomas with three-hundred grams of heroin and a loaded handgun, and Vincent with an ounce of crack and two ounces of cocaine. The estimated street value of the drugs was over 60-thousand dollars.
Both pleaded guilty, and Vincent later violated bond conditions by use of marijuana. In September, Thomas sentenced to over eleven-years in prison with five-years of probation. Vincent was recently sentence to over twelve-years in prison with five-years probation.
Both still remain in of the U.S. Marshall Service.
