LANSING (wKZO) -- Michigan's unemployment rate in January held steady with December at eight-point-nine percent. The state Department of Technology, Management & Budget says the jobless figure is three-tenths of a percent below where it was a year ago, while the national rate fell four-tenths of a percent over the same time. Michigan's unemployment rate is one-percent higher than the national rate.
