KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- KVET officers attempted to make a traffic stop of a wanted subject in the 3000-block of South Westnedge Wednesday, but the driver fled, tearing through a parking lot in reverse at high speed.

The driver's vehicle slammed into an unmarked police vehicle that was pulling into the lot, then rammed the vehicle that made the initial traffic stop before the suspect gave up and was arrested.  They found powder cocaine and crack cocaine on his person worth well over six-thousand dollars.

The 33-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested and taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
