KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo’s Annual Home Expo is underway, and the mood is much improved this year, because it looks like business is improving because consumer confidence is on the rise and interest rates are still low.

People have begun to buy and order new homes again, and while the volume isn’t anywhere near where it was prior to the Great Recession, Dale Shugars says the trend is definitely up.

He says they have everything and anything a homeowner could want to improve their property or build a new one all under one roof.

The Home Expo runs thru Saturday night at the former Sam’s Club building off Mall Drive behind the Crossroads.
