KALAMAZOO, MI (1660 THE FAN) - Ball State had lost 8 straight at University Arena...until Tuesday night.  The Cardinals ended that streak with an 89-85 win over the Broncos.  Next up for Western- hosting rival Central on Saturday.  The Chips helped the Broncos clinch the MAC West title Tuesday despite the loss to Ball State, so the Broncos will go into the MAC Tournament as the #3 seed.  More details to come at wkzo.com.
