KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Enbridge Energy is refusing to pay 800-thousand dollars for two studies needed to assess the damage caused by the company's 2010 tar sands oil spill. The spill polluted 40-miles of the Kalamazoo River.
Representatives of the National Resource Damage Assessment, a group of federal and state agencies, say that Enbridge should participate in the studies to fully determine the damage caused. Enbridge says, though, that there's already been enough data collected.
