BYRON CENTER  (WKZO) -- Byron Center Wholesale Meats of Michigan is recalling 66-hundred pounds of ham products that an Inspector discovered were produced without a Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points plan, or in some cases, a Listeria control program.

Without the plans, they can’t vouch for their quality and safety.

The U.S.D.A. Food Safety and Inspection Service says they are sold under the “Seven Sons Family Farms”, “Heffron Farms” and “Byron Center Meats” Labels. The products include: diced smoked and roast ham, smoked ham hocks, picnic hams, semi-boneless hams, Canadian bacon and smoked pork chops.

They bear the establishment number 2592 and were all produced before March 1st. They were distributed in Michigan and Indiana, and there have been no reports of illness so far.
