KALAMAZOO (WKZO) --  The Kalamazoo City Commission will be asked Monday night to approve a 40-thousand dollar small business revolving fund loan to Judy Sarkozy, that will fill a gap in the financing structure to replace her bread shop in Downtown Kalamazoo.

Through a series of fundraisers, the community has raised 75-thousand dollars for the project, which will be relocated at 350 East Michigan.

Her previous bakery on North Burdick burned down a year ago  .(see picture).

The bakery had not only become a source of high quality bread, but a meeting place for the community.

They hope it will be again.
