MATTAWAN (WKZO) -- It was a murder in Mattawan, and now Michigan State Police have reached out all the way to Georgia to find a “person of interest”.
There was panic at Antwerp Township Hall when gunfire rang out at a private dance party early on the morning of the 17th last month.
When the violence ended and the crowds departed, Ricardo Parker lie dead in a pool of blood from a chest wound and Antonio Nelson lay nearby, nearly beaten to death.
After interviewing witnesses, State Police were able to identify Daniel Jermaine Williams as someone they would like to question about the homicide and learned he was staying near Atlanta, Georgia.
He was arrested on Monday for being a parole absconder and will be extradited back to Michigan for questioning.
