MATTAWAN (WKZO) -- Final funeral plans for fallen firefighter for Nick Fruin of Mattawan have been made public. Visitation is scheduled for this Saturday, March 2 at 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Life Story Funeral Homes on Stadium Drive.

Services will begin at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Monday the 4th at 1:30 with a final salute from area firefighters.    A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2 p.m.

 A funeral procession is planned to begin at the church and proceed  through Mattawan, for those who want to pay their last respects.  The procession will end at Maple Grove Cemetery on Red Arrow Highway.  

The 22-year-old Fruin, a Volunteer Firefighter died from an apparent Heart attack, on his way to assist at a fire on M-43 last Tuesday night..
