KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A repair project begins Monday for West Main Street -- that's M-43 -- over US 131 that'll affect traffic for the next several months. The Michigan Department of Transportation's Nick Schirripa says that they'll be working on the bridge over the highway.
The project will mean the addition of a pedestrian bridge, new pavement, and paint.
It'll cause lane closures on the bridge at different times, and nighttime lane closures on US-131 under the bridge. The two million dollar project is expected to be finished in November.
