DETROIT (WKZO) -- A new exhibit opened at the Michigan Science Center this week that aims to both entertain and educate. It's called "The Science of Rock n Roll," and features displays that cover things like the physical effects of rock n roll on the human body, how rock stars manage to excite fans so much they jump to their feet, and how the instruments work. Kids can also play around with karaoke, guitars, and drums.
The Michigan Science Center's Kerri Budde says the exhibition also serves to inspire by showing visitors what kind of careers they can find in the music industry, and how science relates to all of them.
The Science of Rock n Roll is now open at the Michigan Science Center, which is in Detroit near Wayne State University. You can find out about getting tickets by following this link.
