KALAMAZOO (WKZO) --It didn’t take long, once the media put out the word that a suspected bank robber might be hiding out in Southern Michigan.
Soon after the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team apparently got word on where to find 29-year-old Dontae Travier of Fort Wayne who they considered to be armed and dangerous.
The FBI in Indiana says he was picked up near Crosstown and Mills Street early last evening.The FBI was offering a $3,000 reward for information on his location. That may have primed the pump.He is wanted for allegedly being part of a three man crew who robbed a PNC Branch in Ossian, Indiana in late May.[you can see surveillance photos at our website wkzo.com]
