KALAMAZOO (WKZ0) -- With the echos from the bands playing at the latest weekend festival still hanging in the air, the Kalamazoo Noise Task Force will sit down Monday night and begin talking about recommendations on how to deal with noise complaints from the Summer festivals.
Some say turn down the volume, others say end them at midnight.
But event organizers say that would make them less profitable for the charities that benefit from the events.
The Task Force has spent the last several months receiving testimony from event organizers, downtown business operators, downtown homeowners, city residents, music fans and sound experts.
Whatever they recommend will be sent to the City Commission for their review and action.
