KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Western Michigan University has revealed a little about what it intends to do with East Hall, on East Campus. The building is one of the oldest on campus, and WMU's Cheryl Roland says the plan right now is to spend about 15 million dollars turning it into an alumni center.
Roland says that whenever the project is undertaken, efforts will be made to retain the classic look of the building, but renovations will also be done.
The project comes as Western embarks on a demolition project for several other buildings on East Campus. The university will hold a series of meetings in the coming months as it settles on the final plans for East Hall.
