KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The nice weather and additional repair crews from Wisconsin helped Consumers Energy address dozens of small outages scattered around the Kalamazoo area, and were just finishing up their repairs to Friday's damage, when more stormy weather rolled into the area Sunday night.
They now say there are less than a thousand homes and businesses without power in the Kalamazoo area, over 500 in Allegan County and just a few in Van Buren County.
Some may get their power back this morning. Some may have to wait until this afternoon.
At their peak, the outages in Kalaamzoo County totaled over 16 thousand early Saturday morning.
A reminder to stay away from any downed powerlines, and away from anything they may be touching.
